- Bring to ALMOST BOIL: about 2 pints of water... no need to be accurate. Pour into pitcher, or Stainless Steel bowl, or like we always used: a 1 gallon pickle jar.
- ADD: either 4 family size (I like Lipton)tea bags, or 8 regular. Let it steep for about 10 minutes, then remove bags.
- Add 1 - 1/2 cup sugar. Stir. (You want to add the sugar to the hot water so it will dissolve.)
- Fill remaining pitcher with cold water. Stir again.
- Serve over iced cubes.
