Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 egg yoke
- 2 cups flour
- maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325
- Cream butter, sugar, nutmeg and egg yoke
- Add flour, a little at a time until too stiff to stir with a spoon
- Kneed lightly, drawing in remaining flour until dough just begins to crack
- Roll to 1/4", cut, top with cherry
- Bake 20 minutes
